VISION
Why Sons & Daughters? We believe that the youth of our city will run further, faster, stronger, and longer when they know who they are. Identity gives us purpose to what God longs to do in us, and with calling our SD movement Sons and Daughters we are instilling that right away. Our vision for our youth is to provide a place for every youth in our city to encounter God. Our mission is to inspire, encourage, and welcome home the youth of our city.

SD YOUTH WAIVER
A Waiver/Release of Liability is required for all students attending youth events, you can find that form HERE. Please fill out and email to Noah@thestirring.org or have your student turn it into their youth pastor upon arrival. Thank you!

AWAKENING YOUTH CONFERENCE
Join us as we head down to Trinity Life Center for Awakening Youth Conference 2026 by Jesus Culture Sacramento! Come enjoy powerful worship, dynamic preaching from a host of incredible speakers, and a weekend away with Jesus and friends as we partner with what God is doing in this generation!
Tickets have already been purchased and calculated into the cost of the trip. Students will be staying in a hotel room with 2-3 other students of the same gender and we will be taking care of all transportation. We will leave Friday afternoon, March 13 and return Sunday afternoon, March 15. Register HERE to save your spot!
SD LEAD
A leadership and discipleship program for SD High School and Junior High students, designed to help young leaders grow in their relationship with God and their ability to lead others. Applications are closed and will reopen August 2026.

Committing to serve at SD means you attend our weekly gatherings, grow into leading a small group of students, and live out our core values. All SD volunteers are required to be background checked and live a life consistent with our values at The Stirring. MEET THE PASTOR
Noah Baxter is the Sons & Daughters Jr. High & HS Youth Pastor and has been on staff since 2020. Along with a bachelor’s degree in youth ministry and 7 years of experience working with youth, Noah has a passion to see youth discover who they are in Christ as sons and daughters of God. He wants to help young people go deeper in their relationship with the Father, and discover what the Holy Spirit is doing in their lives and in the world around them. He feels called to pastor and to preach the story of God. Noah is married to a beautiful lady named Chelsey. He is also a former college athlete, a nerd who loves Star Wars and anime, and an artist who loves music and poetry.
