On Mission.

Mission is so much more than something overseas. Mission does not require you to get on a plane and go to a foreign country. We are all called to be involved in God’s mission in everything we do.

Whether we live out God’s call to go to the nations or we serve the family next door, every follower of Jesus has a call to mission. The question is, how will you get involved?

Giving Back
When the Stirring began in 2007, we made a commitment to give back at least 10% of all income to invest in our community and to fuel God’s mission around the world. Since that time, we’ve been blessed to give back thousands of dollars to support local community projects, to plant new churches, to bless leaders in our city and our district, and to fund overseas mission movements. Missions
God has called us to be a church that lives out His mission in our city and around the world. Saying yes to this call, the Stirring is strategically invested in mission movements in Mongolia, South Africa, the Philippines, Jordan and Los Angeles. Much more than short-term mission trips once a year, we are raising up communities to play an ongoing part in the ways God is moving in our city and in these countries. Also, partnering with Envision Culture, the young adult missions wing of the Alliance, we are working to mobilize students to live the gospel to the ends of the earth. Check out Envision Culture.

The Alliance
We are engaged in a worldwide movement called the Christian and Missionary Alliance. The Alliance is a unique missionary movement with a burning passion to live the Great Commission to the ends of the earth. Currently, the Alliance supports more than 900 missionaries in 81 countries worldwide. More than anything, our desire is to see every man, woman, and child experience a personal relationship with God in the fullness of Jesus Christ. Check out www.cmalliance.org.

The Rooster Party
The Rooster Party is building a family of creatives that fund and promote other creatives and projects that are committed to bringing hope to the world. We will throw parties throughout the year to raise awareness of the creatives in our city and raise money to fund projects that are bringing hope.
