VISION.
It's simple. We're partnering with Cypress Elementary School to support and encourage children in the most creative ways. All proceeds from the Erase the Dark festival will go directly to Cypress Elementary.

FESTIVAL.
7-9 pm, Friday evening, March 19th, 2010. Featuring an art & photography gallery, silent auction, short films, and artists performing original songs.

FEATURING.
The Erase the Dark festival will feature songwriters performing original music, local artists displaying original artwork, and film producers showcasing original short films.

SUBMISSIONS.
For questions regarding submissions, please contact the Stirring Office at (530) 510-1990 or email amy@thestirring.org to submit all music, art, and film. All artists must be registered and all art, music, and film must be approved before officially entered into the festival.

ART.
Each artist may submit no more than three pieces of art, including paintings, drawings and photography. Submit jpg image of art or photography by entry deadline March 5th, 2010. Label art with title, artist, and dimension. Artists must provide their own display (easels) for works of art. We will provide tables only.

SILENT AUCTION.
Throughout the evening, we will host a silent auction. At least one piece of art per artist will be a required donation to the Silent Auction. The highest bidder will purchase the work of art. All bidding will take place on the evening of the festival. All proceeds from the silent auction go directly to Cypress Elementary School.

SET UP.
Festival set up and sound check will be Thursday evening, March 18th at the Nazarene Church, located at 2225 Bechelli Lane, Redding, CA. 96002. All artists must bring their art displays on Thursday evening between 4 & 8pm. For exceptions, please contact our office @ 510-1990.
